NO WIRES

IN THE TANK

THAT’S WHAT’S NEW!

The first commercially viable NO WIRES IN THE TANK fuel quantity transducer for General Aviation is now available. The transducer, designed as a direct mechanical replacement for the popular resistance float transducer, utilizes anisotropic magnetoresistive1 technology to sense, from outside of the tank, the position of the float arm inside the tank.

Take a look at the notes from the technical paper Non-Electrically Invasive Liquid Level Measurement presented on April 16, 2002*, at the Society of Automotive Engineers, 2002 General Aviation Technology Conference, held in Wichita, Kansas.
